A Home for Blueprint:
Building Community Through Music

Blueprint has grown into one of Portland’s most vibrant nonprofit performing arts organizations, and we’re hoping you will support our exciting vision:
a permanent home for our organization and the community we serve.
Today, we unite over 275 members across more than 25 ensembles — from youth to adults, and from choirs to instrumental ensembles.
At our core, our mission is simple: to make music accessible to everyone!
Each year, our members present more than 20 concerts, with groups perform everything from classical and masterworks to pop, rock, and musical theatre.
And through this work, we reach numerous people in our community while building real connections and friendships among our members.

Our challenge? We don’t have a permanent home… We rehearse in leased spaces, rent venues for concerts, and constantly adapt to what’s available.
We’ve adjusted and shifted to make things work thus far, but it limits what we can do, as well as holds back our growth.
Our aim is a permanent home base in Portland. This would include a dedicated performance space for concerts and community events, rehearsal rooms designed to support choirs, symphonies, and other activities, and practical parking and accessibility so that everyone — from young students to senior musicians — can participate.
This matters for several reasons. First, it expands our community impact, allowing us to reach more people. Second, it increases accessibility, letting us grow our KARMA Program, which provides scholarships and free concerts to underserved communities. Third, it creates sustainability and gives us long-term stability. And finally, it fuels growth and excellence, enabling us to offer more youth programs, education, and higher-quality performances.

Your support will help make this vision a reality. Your contribution will directly fund property acquisition, renovation and build-out of rehearsal and performance spaces, accessibility improvements, and long-term sustainability for a Portland arts organization that is both firmly established and one of the fastest-growing.
This is more than just a building. It’s about building a stronger, more inclusive community through music.
We invite you to join us in shaping the future of music in Portland.
Let’s make a home for music, a home for community, and a home for Portland.
