Blueprint thrives because of dedicated individuals who believe in the power of the arts to build community, enrich lives, and inspire creativity. As a lean, mission-driven arts organization, our staff and board work closely together to sustain and expand our programs. To strengthen this work and ensure our long-term success, we are looking for members for our Board of Development Directors. Your support and leadership can make a transformative difference.

Blueprint receives funding from public grants, along with some foundation support and individual donors. Yet the demand for our programs continues to grow at a pace that exceeds our current financial resources. To meet this need and prepare for the future, Blueprint is seeking to diversify its funding base to include increased support from private, corporate partners, sponsorship opportunities, and advertising sales.

Participation on the Board of Development Directors will directly support this strategic expansion. Board members will focus exclusively on fundraising efforts—shaping donor engagement, strengthening individual and corporate giving, supporting events, and helping broaden our community of supporters. This board will work in tandem with the Board of Directors, functioning as the primary development arm dedicated to growing the resources that sustain our mission of extending arts opportunities to people of all ages and backgrounds, offering inclusive educational outreach and promoting cultural appreciation, diversity, and a deeper awareness.

We’re looking for people with either/or: expertise, enthusiasm for the arts, passion for the mission, and/or commitment to community.  The time commitment is modest, but the impact is significant—your involvement will help Blueprint sustain and expand its distinctive musical environment throughout the greater Portland area.
